Hi Gunther
On behalf of the Wessex Harmony Chorus group, I would like to thank you for
arranging a wonderful weekend for all of us. The timings of the transfers
were all good. Ingrid and Andre who accompanied us on coach journeys
extremely helpful and attentive, as were the coach drivers.
There was slightly 'hairy'/concerning moment on Friday afternoon when two of the group
were whisked away in a 'rickshaw', en route back to the coach, after singing
at the Oude Kerk! We did not know where they had got to when Ingrid and the
rest of the group arrived at the coach, on foot! A slightly worried Ingrid
and the group were relieved, when an exhausted rickshaw 'cyclist' and his
passengers appeared! I am sure you will hear all about it!
The day at Zandvoort was outstanding and will live in our memories. We were
made so welcome and enjoyed watching some of the other performers - it was a
great event and so well supported. We are delighted to say that we received
a standing ovation following our performance. It was 'magic' and we loved
every minute!
The early evening meal with the Dameskoor Ladies, really successful.
They are a big choir and so with the 39 in our group, filled the restaurant.
We sat at mixed tables chatting, we sang to each other and together and even
danced! I don't think the restaurant staff had experienced anything quite
like it, but they too seemed to enjoy the whole occasion!
Yesterday we were on the canal and then with differet departure
arrangements, did own thing. Even the weather could not dampen our spirits!
This trip can't have been the easiest to arrange, with the original
Amsterdam Festival Event falling through. We do thank you so much for all
your help with managing to register our Chorus with the Zandvoort Festival
and making our weekend package so memorable.

We hebben het geweldig gehad in Berlijn met Band en gezin, en ik vind dat je het geweldig hebt georganiseerd, en jij en Anniek hebben het ons echt zeer naar de zin gemaakt, het liep perfect in onze ogen.

Die Musiker sind immer noch ganz im Bann von Berlin. Es war etwas ganz Besonderes!
Dir und Deiner Frau ganz herzlichen Dank für die Super-Organisation und die zuvorkommende Betreuung.
Auch habe ich mittlerweile einen Bericht über das Festival geschrieben, der hoffentlich in den ganzen Musikzeitschriften hier in Süddeutschland kommen wird. Ich werde Dir dann Exemplare zukommen lassen.

Hoi Günther,
Weer veilig teruggekeerd in het Limburgse land?
Wij zijn ook weer veilig thuisgekomen, dank zij de prima chauffeur die we hadden.
Helaas was het wel later dan gepland (23.00 u.), maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken. Het eten in Rheine was prima. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen, en werden snel bediend. Een goed adres, al was het wel een beetje veel buiten onze route! Al met al hebben we een heel geslaagd weekend gehad.
Buiten de muziek die we hebben kunnen maken hebben we ook van een stuk Berlijn kunnen genieten.
Bedankt voor je prima organisatie. Bedank ook Anique, die ons op een vriendelijke manier hielp waar nodig was. Veel succes met al je projecten.
We hopen dat we nog veel van Eventtours zullen horen.
Misschien komen we elkaar nog eens tegen bij een van je andere projecten.

Sehr geehrter Herr Lange,
leider konnte ich mich letzten Samstag nicht mehr von Ihnen verabschieden,
da unser Jugendorchester wegen der Ruhezeit des Busfahrers recht früh aufbrechen musste.
Ich möchte es aber nicht unterlassen, mich bei Ihnen für die Organisation
dieses Wettspiels herzlich zu bedanken. Es war für unsere Jugendlichen eine
einmalige Erfahrung. Bitte schicken Sie mir die Punkteliste und den
Jurybericht, damit ich an der morgigen Probe meine Jugendlichen entsprechend informieren kann.

It was indeed a pleasure for us to be in Berlin and to sing in this beautiful church and Philharmony.

I hope your trip back to home went well and you have had some time to recover about the event in Berlin.
Or did you have to run and rush to the other new coming event?
We got safely back in home, and we were tired but very happy.
We are so proud of that the jury showed their appreciation to us and
the style we are doing our music, this all despite of our small size of the orchestra.
The award means us a lot and gives power and faith for the future projects.
Somehow I’m still having the feeling that my shoes are not yet touching the ground

The whole orchestra has been very very happy (and tired!=D) and thrilled of the experience and the exchange
of thoughts and musical views, and meeting so many wonderful bands and music lovers in one place. Suchhappenings are a great effort for those who organize it,
but they allow us to exceed ourselves and become better musicians and that way human beings.=)

thank you for your message! Yes, the return flight was ok, and everything in Berlin went smoothly, too.
The festival was very nice, we enjoyed it, and the organization was good.
It is good to have the evaluation, our orchestra was, of course, not on the same level as most (if not all) of the
orchestras, but we knew it already beforehand, and were/are not too concerned about that. I have always
loved Berlin, and I noticed that many persons of our group now share my feelings, Berlin is the best!
Nice that you like our present, I am proud to tell you that this guest book is an individual thing of its kind, the
producer makes all books individually, and the iron used for the book is specially made for this purpose, by
hand. We hope that you gather information both on your private parties and on the festivals your firm will be
arranging!
We'll send you some fotos, but it will take a couple of days, before I see our orchestra!

Danke, mir geht es gut.
Hoffe Sie und Ihre Frau konnten schon wieder etwas in den Alltag zurück kehren?
Nach einigen Staus auf den Autobahnen sind wir am Sonntagabend gegen 21.00 Uhr wieder gut zuhause
angekommen.
Es waren interessante und aufregende Tage während unseres Berlinaufenthaltes. Trotz den ein oder anderen
Verschiebungen scheint es unserer Mannschaft aber sehr gut gefallen zu haben, wie ich bereits vernehmen
konnte. Wir sind schon sehr auf die ausführlichen Auswertungen der Jury gespannt.
Ich denke Sie konnten für Ihren Teil sicherlich viele Erfahrungen aus dem 1. Internationalen
Blasorchesterfestival sammeln. Auch für mich war unsere Reiseorganisation sehr wertvoll für zukünftige
Umsetzungen solcher Projekte.

Het optreden in Trier, was een onvergetelijke ervaring.
Het optreden in Echternach was goed maar koud.
